Benjamin E. Witmer

BENJAMIN-EBen moved to Montgomery County and began working in the legal field in 1994 while pursuing his undergraduate mathematics and teaching degrees. After teaching mathematics at the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, Ben decided to return to law / business school at Temple University, and after graduating with law and MBA degrees, continued his professional relationship with the firm as an attorney.

Ben has developed a diverse repertoire of practice areas, assisting clients with matters relating to family law, personal injury, business and corporate matters, civil litigation, collections, foreclosure prosecution and defense, criminal law and creditor rights within and outside of the United States Bankruptcy Courts. Ben utilizes his combined law and MBA degreed to provide efficient and effective counsel to various business clients, addressing both legal and business concerns, as well as to provide family law clients with a unique perspective when the ubiquitous fiscal issues arise. Combining the thought processes and skills acquired though both law and business graduate programs, Ben seeks to address his clients’ issues prospectively by mitigating risk, and also responding to unavoidable situations where formal litigation becomes necessary in a cost-efficient manner with cost-benefit often being an important driving factor in the decision making process.

Ben’s competency and dedication to pursuing what is best for his clients has been recognized by his clients and peers alike, having been recognized as a Rising Star in the Philadelphia Magazine Super Lawyer edition. Ben has also presented continuing legal education workshops for peers, and remains active within the legal community through the Montgomery County Bar Association.

Outside of his law office, Ben is an avid motorcyclist and commutes year round on his sport touring motorcycle. Ben also continues to maintain his competitive edge outside of the office racing his GSX-750R on road racing courses from New Jersey, to West Virginia to the historical Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, California. Ben also spends much of his free time involved with sports, pitching, catching and playing infield for the Royersford Rockies, a team in the Bux-Mont adult wood bat baseball league, as well as coaching his daughter’s and son’s baseball, football and basketball teams near home in the Upper Providence area.
