Thomas C. Rentschler
Tom graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with BS Degrees in Accounting and Secondary Education. Tom also has a Masters Degree in Education – Curriculum and Instruction from West Chester University and was a public school teacher for over fifteen (15) years. Tom then attended the Widener University School of Law and was named to the Dean’s Honor List multiple times and was a Magna Cum Laude Graduate of the Law School. He earned Certificates of Achievement in his Wills and Trusts, Contracts, Torts, Federal Income Tax, Client Counseling and Labor Law courses. He was also a member of the Widener Law Review and his article regarding the No Child Left Behind Legislation entitled “Admirable Goals, Disastrous Outcomes” was published in the 2005 edition of the Widener Law Review. Tom was selected for inclusion on the 2010 Pennsylvania’s Rising Stars for Family Law.
Tom has represented clients in divorce, support and child custody actions in Berks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Schuylkill Counties. He has also represented clients in a variety of criminal matters, particularly in DUI offenses. He has also successfully represents clients in drug, assault and theft cases. Tom also has been involved in estate planning and administration for numerous clients and has made appearances before the Orphans’ Court in Berks, Bucks and Montgomery County for Will contests. Tom has successfully argued before the American Arbitration Association.
Tom is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Berks County Bar Association and a Board Member of Berks Connections Pre-Trial Services.
